To mark the 35th anniversary of the iconic Air Jordan 6, Jordan Brand has teamed up with Awake NY for their third collaborative project, infusing street-level luxury with a distinctly New York flair. The collection draws inspiration from founder Angelo Baque’s early memories of New York’s bootleg culture, reimagining high fashion through a lens of street market aesthetics.
## Design and Craftsmanship
The collaboration subverts traditional high-fashion norms by incorporating design elements reminiscent of bootleg merchandise-such as exaggerated color blocking, modified branding, and raw stitching. However, these street-inspired touches are elevated with premium materials, including Saffiano, Midnight Navy, and Light Blue leathers, paired with Game Royal nubuck and Sail accents. Vibrant Infrared 23 detailing adds a bold contrast, while signature AJ6 features like the lace pocket, dual toggles, and visible Nike Air heel cushioning remain intact. Awake NY’s motif subtly crowns the design, blending street sensibility with luxury craftsmanship.

## Apparel and Release Details
