Pas Normal Studios has released its Fall/Winter 2026 cycling collections, framing the season around the concept of "Same Season. Different Reasons." The Copenhagen-based brand's three lines-Mechanism, Escapism, and Essential-are each built with unique fabric systems to cater to specific rider motivations in cold weather.

Mechanism: Engineered for Racing

The Mechanism line is designed for race-fit performance. Its centerpiece is the Mechanism Thermal Jacket, constructed from a three-layer fabric featuring a Windtex Pro membrane. This jacket offers a breathability rating of 20,000 g/m²/24h and 10,000 mm of water resistance. It includes a DWR treatment and ultrasonically welded, taped seams. A grid-fleece backer provides insulation while maintaining a close cut.

The collection also features the Thermal Long Sleeve Jersey 2.0, which uses Polartec Power Shield Pro Knit and Power Grid fabrics. New for the season are the Thermal Long Bibs. Together, these pieces are intended to cover conditions from mild autumn days to deep-winter training in rain or snow.

Escapism: Built for Gravel Adventure

Escapism targets gravel riding and exploration beyond familiar terrain. The new Escapism Hooded Lightweight Jacket is a key piece, made from a three-layer waterproof, lightweight ripstop fabric. High-stretch, breathable ripstop panels are placed to preserve a rider's range of motion. The jacket features critically taped seams for protection and a hood designed to fit under a helmet, complete with elasticated adjustment and ear inserts.

The line is completed by the new Escapism Long Cargo Bibs. These are made from a textured, rugged fabric built to withstand rough ground.

Essential: Understated Everyday Performance

The Essential collection offers a looser interpretation of performance wear, blending technical function with understated styling for daily rides. It is designed for transitional weather in both hemispheres. New colorways have been introduced across the Essential Light range.

The season also adds more textured pieces, including the Essential Long Sleeve Jersey, Essential Insulated Gilet, and Essential Insulated Jacket. According to the brand, this last group incorporates Polartec Alpha insulation panels for lightweight warmth as conditions change.

A Unified Color Story

A shared seasonal color palette ties the three collections together. Pas Normal Studios states this palette draws inspiration from mountain communities, where textile traditions have long merged vibrant color, detailed pattern, and texture with practical purpose.

The Fall/Winter 2026 collections are available now through the brand's online store, its retail locations, and selected wholesale partners.
