London Fashion Week SS27 Off-Schedule Shows Announced
Dazed highlights six emerging designers presenting menswear and womenswear collections outside the official BFC schedule for London Fashion Week SS27.
Six emerging designers will present their Spring/Summer 2027 collections off-schedule during London Fashion Week. According to a guide published by Dazed on September 15, 2026, these shows operate on an 'IYKYK' basis, promoted independently to dedicated followers.
Kai Ghattaura, a recent Central Saint Martins graduate, will show a collection alongside his partner, Fin Forsyth. The Telford-raised designer describes his work as "postmodern ragebait clothing." His references are rooted in internet lore and the video games of his youth.
Ellen Poppy Hill Sharpens Up
Ellen Poppy Hill presents her third collection, titled 'Sharpen Up Your Act!'. The south London designer, who shows only once a year, hinted at inspiration from pencil shavings via her Instagram. She told Dazed last year that her inspiration comes from "found things, from reading, artwork, talking to people and even from certain sentences."
Leather, Comedy, and Couture
R&M Leathers, founded by Ruby Mariani in 2018, will host its debut runway show titled 'MISS LEATHERS'. The event is a collaboration with Pornhub and will be held in east London. The label has cultivated a cult following over eight years.
Layal Balubaid, a London-based Saudi designer, is opening her studio during fashion week. Known for comedy-inflected couture, she is currently studying for an MA at Central Saint Martins. "Want to see my pieces up close? Try things on? Be nosy? Bring me a present? Now you can!" she said.
Intimate Presentations and Retail Takeovers
Greek designer George Trochopoulos, known for a viral mussel-shell bolero, is hosting an intimate off-schedule show in Fitzrovia. He counts several high-profile musicians as fans. "The past few years I have been getting to know my girl. I hope this season I can give you a proper introduction to her," he told Dazed.
Footwear brand Lili Curia is taking over Dover Street Market for an intimate reading with model Tali Lennox. Founded just last year, the brand's vintage-style shoes have been worn by numerous celebrities. The event is pitched as a calm respite from the fashion week chaos.
