Ottolinger presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection during Paris Fashion Week on October 2, 2026. The show was held in the unfinished shell of a former Zara space in Paris's 14th arrondissement, setting the stage for a vision of fashion as daily nourishment. The Berlin-based design duo of Cosima Gadient and Christa Bösch conceived the clothing as an intimate extension of the skin, intended to offer comfort and enhance the body's radiance. Titled 'Moisturizer', the collection positions getting dressed as an act of self-care tied directly to feeling confident in one's own image.

Design Philosophy and Key Pieces

The collection represents a deliberate evolution of Ottolinger's signature deconstruction. The approach moves away from shock-driven disruption toward a more measured and fluid interpretation. Deconstruction becomes controlled through transparency, suspension, and precise plays on fit. Trousers appear to detach from underlying mesh structures, while denim waistbands separate from garments to create a floating effect. Hoodies are reduced to their essential components, with hoods suspended around the neck above a bare chest. White shirts are sliced open to expose the torso, which is covered only by thin, transparent mesh. Eveningwear hybridizes tuxedo tailoring with lingerie details, using cuts, asymmetry, lace, and transparency to dissolve traditional rigidity. The overall tension between softness and attitude is explored through twisted drapes and consistently body-hugging cuts.

Celebrity and Influencer Presence

The show's body-centric ethos was amplified by a cast of high-profile participants. Supermodel Heidi Klum closed the show, emerging from runway retirement to walk in a dishevelled black suit with a skintight bodice. Rapper Offset and musician Coi Leray also walked the runway. Designer and influencer Diya Joukani was another notable presence on the catwalk. Reports indicate that Offset had personally approached Ottolinger with a desire to collaborate. Klum's final look, a deconstructed suit, was seen as encapsulating the entire collection's refined language.

Technical Innovation and Craft

Technical innovation supported the luxurious, skin-focused narrative. The collection featured specific pieces that blended categories and textures.

This technical execution frames each garment as a layer of confidence felt directly on the skin. The designers' shift from four wholesale seasons to two allows more time for such deep development of ideas and materials. Ottolinger's SS27 collection closes on its core theme: clothing as an intimate, nourishing extension of the skin itself.
